Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern the Mission service, user accounts and related online functions. The licence for the iPhone application is additionally governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.
1. Provider and Scope
The service provider and contracting party is David Novakovic, Spielmanngasse 4/16/3
1200 Wien
Ă–sterreich. Legal enquiries may be sent to office@dailymission.app; product support is available at support@dailymission.app.
Telephone: +43 676 6585516.
These Terms apply to the Mission iPhone application, Mission accounts, synchronisation, missions, tasks, statistics, reminders, widgets, friends, invitations, challenges, quotes, support and the website at dailymission.app.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. If the law applicable to you requires consent from a parent or legal representative, you may use Mission only after that consent has been given. Persons who do not have full legal capacity may enter into paid contracts only with the required approval.
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your device and sign-in method, and notify Mission promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not transfer your account or use another person’s account without permission.
3. Formation of the Contract and Contract Languages
A free service agreement is formed when you accept these Terms and create or use a Mission account. A paid subscription is formed only when the Apple App Store confirms the purchase. Before confirming a purchase, the App Store purchase screen allows you to review and correct the selected product and account.
The contract may be concluded in English, German, Spanish, French or Croatian. These Terms can be viewed, printed and saved at any time. Mission does not currently retain a separate individual copy of the version accepted for a free account; you should save the applicable version. Apple provides the purchase confirmation and billing record for App Store transactions on a durable medium.
4. Service and Technical Requirements
Mission is a productivity and habit service for organising personal goals and daily actions. It is not a medical, psychological, legal, financial, tax, safety or emergency service.
Use requires a compatible Apple device, a supported version of iOS and, for account, synchronisation, friends, purchases and support functions, an internet connection. The current product description and the App Store purchase screen contain the material characteristics of the respective offer.
5. Application Licence and Intellectual Property
Mission and its software, design, branding and supplied content remain protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these Terms, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for lawful private purposes.
The application is licensed, not sold. The Apple Standard EULA applies to the application licence unless a valid custom EULA is made available in the App Store. Mandatory statutory rights always take precedence.
6. Your Content and Shared Functions
You retain your rights in titles, descriptions, images, quotes, challenge content, issue reports and other content you provide. You grant Mission a non-exclusive licence, limited to the duration and purposes of the service, to store, process, synchronise, display and transmit that content as technically required for the functions you select.
Content shared through invitation or quote links may be viewed by recipients, link-preview services and anyone to whom the link is forwarded. You must not place confidential information or third-party content in a shared link unless you are authorised to do so.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not use Mission to harass, threaten, deceive, impersonate or unlawfully monitor another person.
- Do not upload or share unlawful, discriminatory, hateful, abusive, privacy-infringing or intellectual-property-infringing content.
- Do not circumvent security measures, access data without authorisation, introduce malicious code, scrape the service or disrupt its infrastructure.
- Do not use invitations, quote links, challenges or support channels for spam, commercial mass messaging or automated abuse.
- Do not enter special-category personal data, such as diagnoses, medication details, religious beliefs or biometric identifiers, in synchronized descriptions, images, support reports or shared links.
Suspected unlawful use can be reported to support@dailymission.app. Mission reviews such reports and takes the measures that are legally required and technically available. Public quote links are generated from their URL and cannot currently be removed from every recipient, message history or third-party preview after they have been shared.
8. Subscriptions, Trials and Payment
The product, billing period, full price including applicable taxes, trial duration, scope of paid functions and renewal conditions are shown in the Apple purchase screen before confirmation. Apple processes payment; Mission does not receive your full payment-card details.
An auto-renewing subscription renews for the period shown in the purchase screen until it is cancelled through the Apple account. A free trial converts to the displayed paid subscription when the trial ends unless it is cancelled in time. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple account settings.
Deleting a Mission account or application does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancellation ends future renewal; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period. Apple processes App Store charges and payment reversals, but mandatory contractual, warranty and withdrawal claims against Mission remain unaffected and can be asserted at office@dailymission.app.
9. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
A consumer who concludes a distance contract with Mission may withdraw from it without giving reasons within 14 days from the date the contract is concluded. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send an unambiguous withdrawal statement before the period expires to David Novakovic, Spielmanngasse 4/16/3
1200 Wien
Österreich, email office@dailymission.app, telephone +43 676 6585516. For an App Store purchase, Apple’s refund request process should additionally be used for the payment reversal.
Following an effective withdrawal, Mission refunds payments received under the withdrawn contract without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the statement, using the same means of payment unless expressly agreed otherwise and without charging a fee. Apple technically processes reversals of App Store payments. If the consumer expressly requested that a service begin during the withdrawal period, a proportionate amount may be payable only where the statutory requirements are met.
The right may expire before the end of the period for a fully performed service or supplied digital content only if all statutory requirements are met, including the required prior information, the consumer’s express request or consent, acknowledgement of the legal consequence and confirmation on a durable medium. The specific information and declarations shown before purchase remain decisive.

- Ordered or contract concluded on: [date]
- Name of consumer(s): [name]

- Date: [date]; signature of consumer(s) only if this form is submitted on paper
10. Statutory Warranty and Updates
The statutory warranty rights for digital services, including the right to contractual conformity and required updates under the Austrian Consumer Warranty Act (VGG), remain fully applicable. Nothing in these Terms shortens or excludes a mandatory warranty period or remedy.
You should install security and functional updates made available for Mission and keep iOS reasonably current. A failure caused solely by not installing a properly notified update may have the consequences provided by applicable law.
11. Availability and Changes
Mission may perform maintenance and make proportionate changes where necessary for security, legal compliance, compatibility with changed operating systems or third-party interfaces, or abuse prevention. A change to an ongoing paid digital service that goes beyond maintaining contractual conformity requires a specifically identified valid reason in the contract, causes no additional cost and is communicated clearly. If it more than insignificantly impairs access or use, Mission will inform you reasonably in advance on a durable medium about the features and time of the change and the statutory right to terminate free of charge.
No uninterrupted availability is promised. Mission will, however, provide the service with the care required by law and will not use this clause to restrict statutory warranty or damage claims.
12. Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using Mission at any time and request account deletion at office@dailymission.app. Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation. Information subject to statutory retention duties or required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims may be retained for the applicable period.
Mission may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, an acute security risk, or a legal requirement. Except where immediate action is necessary, Mission will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
13. Liability
Mission is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for personal injury, under mandatory product-liability law and wherever liability cannot legally be limited. Statutory consumer and warranty rights remain unaffected.
For damage caused by slight negligence, liability is limited, to the extent legally permissible, to a breach of a material contractual obligation and to the foreseeable damage typical for this contract. Reminders, statistics and motivational content do not replace your own checking of important appointments, deadlines or decisions. Further information is provided in the liability notice.
14. Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protection granted by the law of your habitual residence. The competent court is determined by mandatory law; no exclusive venue is imposed on consumers.
Please contact support@dailymission.app first so that a complaint can be reviewed. Mission is not currently committed or legally obliged to participate in a consumer arbitration procedure. If a direct complaint cannot be resolved and section 19 of the Austrian Alternative Dispute Resolution Act applies, Mission will provide the legally required information about the competent body on a durable medium.
15. Changes to These Terms and Contact
The current version is available on this page. Material changes to an ongoing contract will be communicated in advance in a clear manner where required. Changes do not apply retroactively unless required by law or expressly agreed.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to office@dailymission.app. The privacy policy, imprint and support information form separate information documents.
